Druids are pleased to confirmed today that they have signed Matty Owen from title challengers Connahs Quay, Matty will be known to many Druids fans after his loan stint at the club first in 2013 from Wrexham AFC and following transfer to Druids in 2014, before then making a move to fellow WPL club Newtown at the end of that season. PHASE 2 FIXTURES ANNOUNCED!
Today the Welsh Premier League published the fixtures for Phase two, Druids will kick off with a tough test against the title holders The New Saints. There will be no easy games in this phase but Huw and the boys have already got the measure of the other 5 clubs in the first half of the season and will be hoping to repeat performances such as beating Bangor & Bala and taking points of MET and Connahs Quay. Iwan Cartwright joins the ancients!
Iwan Cartwright puts pen to paper and joins Druids as their first transfer of 2018. He spent his first half of the season at Newtown after impressing in pre season, prior to his time at the robins Cartwright had played for Colwyn Bay FC, Nuneaton & Wrexham.
