After seeing him play it was clear that he had the characteristics we were looking for within a player. Over the past few months we have been able to monitor him and when the transfer window opened he was a player who we targeted to bring in.

Once we were able to speak with Alun it was clear of his ambition develop and he was also very aware of us and the clubs history which he wanted to be apart of. He has slotted in seamlessly with current squad of players and we are all looking forward to seeing Alun in action in a Druids shirt. Alun will be given squad number 27.

I would also like to publicly thank the manager and secretary of FC Oswestry Town for there help and co-operation getting this transfer completed."

John Hughes, Chairman added:- "As Chairman we are pleased to welcome Alun to Cefn Druids. We pride ourselves in scouting in the local area and credit must go to our management team on continually scanning all the local leagues for potential talent.

Alun is a strong defender and is one for the future. Huw is good at bringing in players who he thinks have potential. We are not just relying on proven players in the WPL. Bringing in new blood makes us different, The way forward ."
