Lewis Buckley joins us from Llandudno. Manager, Huw Griffiths commented on The Ancients latest acquisition:-

Ruane and Healing put pen to paper
The Club is delighted to announce the re-signing of Ashley Ruane and Ellis Healing
Both players joined us full time in the January window after following Ruane's return to Connahs Quay after his loan spell with the Ancients. Ruane ended the season as Cefn Druids top scorer in the league whilst Healing finished the season in fine form with goals and assists.

Druids announce new kit partner
Cefn Druids AFC have released their home & away kit for the 2017/18 season, the new Errea kit is supplied by Total Teamwear UK. Cefn Albion secure Cup win at The Rock
On Friday night The Rock played host to the NLW Premier Division Cup Final between local side Cefn Albion FC and FC Nomads. Club Chairman Retires
It is with regret that we announce Brian Mackie, Chairman of Cefn Druids AFC is stepping down from his role on the board. We would like to place on record the thanks of all those at the club for his long service to Cefn Druids, under his tenure we have seen major improvements across the board from our Academy right through to the First Team, we also underwent the relocation of the club from Plas Kynaston to The Rock and more recently the new 3G playing surface installation. Head of Youth Football to step down
It is with regret that we announce Geoff Williams, Head of Youth Football at Cefn Druids AFC is stepping down from the role at the end of May. After the end of a fantastic season for the Druids Academy that has seen the reserves win their league and the U16's crowned champions of the FAW Academy Cup, Geoff has decided now is the time to hand over the reigns. Cook & Eckersley re-sign
Cefn druids are pleased to announce the resigning of club captain Stuart Cook and footballing centre back Matthew Eckersley.
Stuart Cook who also received the supports players of the season put pen to paper after a successful 1st season with druids.
Matthew Eckersley arrived last season with Stuart after playing in the North West Counties League and has shown his ability by playing a number of positions which saw druids claim 8th spot. Manager, Huw Griffiths Commented:-


Druids U16s Welsh Champions
On Monday evening the U16s squad were crowned the FAW Academy Champions after a thrilling encounter with Haverfordwest which proceeded to penalties. The season started with 3 groups of 5 teams, the top 2 teams from each group would then form a Super six league with the remaining clubs playing in a conference league. Reserves claim League Title
Cefn Druids Reserves claimed the reserves league title on Friday night after winning 2-1 away at Holywell. This has been the perfect end to a great season for the reserves. The Reserves (with only an average age of 18) started the season with an away day defeat. From there on they where relentless in their pursuit of long time leaders Gresford, going on a remarkable twenty three game unbeaten run finally securing the league title on the last day of the season.
