Disappointment at Maes Tegid
Following their away win at Prestatyn, the Ancients headed into the Bala game with confidence. In the lead up to last weeks Bangor game, NE Wales was hit by heavy snowfall resulting in the pitch at Druids being covered in up to 12 inches of snow! a favourable forecast of mild wet weather allowed the thaw to set in, but still face with 4 inches of snow on the 3G surface on Friday the club sent out an appeal for help to make sure the Bangor fixture wasn't postponed. Following a pitch inspection it has been decided to postpone tonights fixture away at Prestatyn Town, the adverse weather conditions across the region have caused many games to be cancelled although tonights Connahs Quay fixture will go ahead.
