Academy lads make their first team debut!
Alex Buxton & Lewis George were rewarded with a run out for the first team against TNS last weekend. Although Druids lost the game 5-1, both Alex and Lewis impressed and will have taken alot from what was a special moment coming off the bench for the First Team. George was subbed on first in the 64th Min replacing Michael Pritchard followed by Buxton who came on in the 76th min replacing Hadjari. Wales U18s Call up for two Academy Players
Druids are delighted to announce that two of our U19 Squad have been called up for the North Wales U18's Academy Representative team who will play in a trial against a South Wales U18s side. Adam Jones & CJ Craven will both attend the game which will be held in Newtown on Thursday, 21st September at 2.00p.m. This is a great credit to all the hard work that goes in to the Academy that two of our players have been called up to represent North Wales! Congratulations & Good Luck

Academy Match Reports
Under 11s V Chester (Away) Played 3x 20mins. 1st game Drew 1-1. 2nd game Drew 1-1 & lost last game 1-0. We played out from the back all game & passed the ball around really well. We created far more chances overall & if it wasn't for their keeper we would have scored plenty. Stand out player was Jake Fox U12s V Airbus (Away) Cefn Druids U12's ran out winners in an exciting end to end game on Sunday 17th 2017. WPDL: Goal Thriller for U19s
Sundays game we welcomed Prestatyn town to the rock to what was GW3 in the WPDL. Our first two league fixtures had seen us lose a close battle to TNS 1-0 at home and a well-earned draw away to flint town 1-1. It was Manager Josh Millington first home game as U19 manager and had made the message clear to his lads that a good performance and 3 points was needed to get their season going. 2016/17 Reserves Squad Photos
It was back in May that our reserves side secured their league title with an 2-1 away win at Holywell. This was a huge achievement not only for all the Academy Staff but for the whole club, today the team are photographed ahead of the 2017-18 season where the club will look to secure and build on last seasons successes.
