Nathan Peate commits his future to Druids!
The club is delighted to announce that experienced Centre Back Nathan Peate has put pen to paper and re-signed for the 2019/20 season with Cefn Druids AFC. The 27 year old was a key player for Druids in their best ever league season, finishing 5th and securing European Football last season, his gritty performances and work rate secured him the Player of the Season award voted for by Ancients Fans. Druids beat Met!
The Ancients threw a spanner in Cardiff Mets Play Off hopes with a 3-1 win over the Students at The Rock. Druids left frustrated with a point against Llandudno
A solid Druids performance met with a strong Llandudno side at The Rock on Friday, Druids started early with Rittenberg bagging a great goal from distance, the ancients went on to create chances time after time in the first half but failed to find the back of the net heading towards half time it looked to be a game dominated by Druids but Webb put pay to that on the 33rd min bringing the seasiders right back into the fixture.
