Nathan Peate commits his future to Druids!
The club is delighted to announce that experienced Centre Back Nathan Peate has put pen to paper and re-signed for the 2019/20 season with Cefn Druids AFC.
The 27 year old was a key player for Druids in their best ever league season, finishing 5th and securing European Football last season, his gritty performances and work rate secured him the Player of the Season award voted for by Ancients Fans.
His quality didn't go unnoticed receiving a call up for the Wales C side against England back in March.
Druids Chairman, John Hughes commented on the news : " As a club trying to progress both on and off the field, we at Druids are delighted to have secured Nathan for next season's campaign. Without doubt,Nathan warranted his Welsh Cap this season and we are pleased that he has committed himself to Druids for another season. It shows that Nathan believes that we are going in the right direction."
Druids fans who had been nervous of a possible move away from the Rock for Peate following this season, will be assured by this announcement and will see it as a strong statement of intent for next season!
