TNS show their class over Christmas
The New Saints 7-0 Cefn Druids
Attendance: 281
Referee: Iwan Griffith
The champions sealed a top six place after they thrashed Cefn Druids at Park Hall.
Ryan Brobbel's opener ten minutes into the game set the tone for the afternoon, the midfielder beating a couple of defenders before his shot went in via a deflection.
Striker Kurtis Byrne then added a second on 18', latching onto a Simon Spender pass before slotting home.
Jamie Mullan sprang the offside trap to make it three four minutes before the break, and the home side looked to be in control of proceedings.
They certainly didn't let up after the break, Byrne making it four on 52' after Tom Holland's pass picked him out.
It stayed that way for a long time, three goals in the final eight minutes putting a gloss on the scoreline. Brobbel added his second on 82', before completing his hat trick in the final minute of the game, with sub Greg Draper adding the seventh in stoppage time.
