Goalless on the coast!

It was Druids, who managed to carve out the first opportunity of the game when Piskorski found space in the six yard box but a slip denied him from getting a clean contact on his strike that went harmlessly wide. Llandudno’s first real chance came after 25 minutes when they launched a counter attack after George Harry played through John Owen who was clean through on goal, but his strike stopped by a great save from Michael Jones. The first half seemed to fizzle out - back out for the second half the Ancients should have gone ahead after five minutes, but the Llandudno keeper produced a double save again to deny Huw Griffiths' men Druids were having some good possession spells but failed to capitalise on the opportunities to get the illusive goal to put them ahead. The weather which was wet with very high winds played its part and certainly had a negative effect on Druids play, continually blowing the ball off course. The draw leaves both sides going home disappointed as both would have felt a victory was doable as the referee blew his whistle. The Draw leaves Druids at the bottom end of the table on 12 points (9th) only 3 points above Llandudno (10th) & Carmarthen (11th) and 5 points clear of Llanelli (12th). Attendance: 308

Referee: Mark Petch
