New club conditioning specialist appointed

Yesterday the club announced that it had parted company with Jon PD Morris. The club would like to place on record our thanks to PD for his hard work and dedication over the time he has worked with us.
Assistant Manager, Jayson Starkey commented :- 'We would like to take the opportunity to thank Jon PD for all of his hard work over the past 3 ½ years. He’s been a key member of the 1st team set up in his time here and we can’t thank him enough for everything that he has done. PD was part of the management team that travelled to Lithuania and along with son Jack all the 1st team management would like to thank you both and wish you all the best future.'
This evening the club announced that Phil Joseph would be joining the club in the role of First Team Fitness specialist. Phil is a well respected conditioning specialist, with a wealth of experience in sport with long ties in Welsh Rugby League. The club is looking forward to working with Phil to develop our players fitness and conditioning, while making sure they receive the best care possible.
Chairman, John Hughes commented :- 'I would like to welcome Phil Joseph to the club as our new Sport Conditioning specialist. Phil is well known for his work in deep tissue massage, injury management, and rehabilitation.
Phil played for a host of Rugby league teams as a professional,and had 15 Welsh International caps. He is currently involved with the U19 Welsh Rugby league Squad, and is excited about the opportunity offered to him at Cefn Druids.
The club is always looking to improve and develop in all areas, on and off the pitch - and the developing of a scientific approach to treatment at this sporting level cannot be ignored. It needs embraced.
Phil is an infectious character with plenty of knowledge and experience. The players are looking forward to working with him.'
