Head of Youth Football to step down
It is with regret that we announce Geoff Williams, Head of Youth Football at Cefn Druids AFC is stepping down from the role at the end of May.
After the end of a fantastic season for the Druids Academy that has seen the reserves win their league and the U16's crowned champions of the FAW Academy Cup, Geoff has decided now is the time to hand over the reigns.
The club has now approached Shaun Colley to fill the vacant post, he has agreed to take over and has the full backing and support of the club as we head into next season.
John Hughes, Chairman of the Club commented:- "Cefn Druids AFC would like to express thanks to Geoff for his commitment towards the fantastic development of the Academy. The status of the Academy under his leadership has been instrumental in making Cefn Druids the place to be, we look forward to continuing to build on the foundation of this success going forward"
