Druids eye an 8th place finish

Following Last weeks 3-2 win over Llandudno, Druids secured their survival in the Welsh Premier League for another season. With their top flight position confirmed they have the opportunity this weekend to turn their attention from the bottom of the table and finish 8th with a win over Airbus tomorrow. This would see the club with their best ever finish in the league and add an extra special feeling to what has been a stand out season for the Ancients.
Manager Huw Griffiths was ecstatic after securing victory last weekend but he's asking his team for one final push on Saturday.
"Last weeks victory over Llandudno saw us secure our Welsh Premier League status for next season. This week we welcome Airbus to The Rock and we are asking for 1 more big performance from the lads to see us secure an 8th place finish in the league which will be a fantastic achievement for everyone involved. The players deserve all the applause they have been getting they have been a credit to the club."
Following the final whistle the club will be holding its presentation evening in the club, with everyone welcome to attend and celebrate the season. Everyone at the club will also be looking forward to welcoming the Champions League Trophy to The Rock on 1st May, which will be a memorable evening for all!
