Druids progress to NEWFA Cup Semi Final
Last night Druids secured their place in the NEWFA Cup Semi Final against Corwen FC. Druids ran out 4-2 winners against a very good Brymbo side. Druids were first to score with an effort by Jonny Taylor, this was followed only minutes later by a superb strike by Jordan Evans. 2-0 up at half time it looked like Druids were ready to clock up more but it would be Brymbo who were next on the scoresheet, Kearney slotted one in to bring the score 2-1 and kept the match competitive.

Druids Roar in NEWFA Cup!
Tonight Druids faced Ruthin in the rescheduled NEWFA Cup fixture which was abandoned due to fog last month. Ruthin the current holders of the cup would have been ready for a strong defence of their title. NEWFA Cup Match Abandoned
Druids faced Ruthin Town in the Third Round of the NEWFA Cup at the Rock on Tuesday night.
The weather decided to play a part as a heavy mist played havoc first half. Druids were 2-0 up as the team returned second half with goals from Hajdari (Pen) and Davies. By the 60 min mark the visibility had deteriorated to the point that the Ref decided to abandon the fixture, we will have more details on the replay asap - it must be played before the 22nd December. #Druids #NEWFA #R

NEWFA - New Referees Course

Druids resurgent in NEWFA Cup
Druids fielded a strong side to face Gresford in the second round of the NEWFA Cup, after disappointment the previous week dropping out of the Nathaniel MG Cup, the ancients needed a statement to show they were taking lessons from their previous defeats. The game opened fairly evenly with both sides taking chances, a repeat of the pre season draw seemed a possibility until Naim Arsan found the back of the net after 21 minutes, Healing and Mudimu rounded off a great first half


Cup defence ends in seven goal encounter
Rhostyllen 4 - 3 Druids Cefn Druids’ defence of the NEWFA Cup ended at the first hurdle as a predominantly young Ancients side were edged out by Rhostyllen.
