In the lead up to last weeks Bangor game, NE Wales was hit by heavy snowfall resulting in the pitch at Druids being covered in up to 12 inches of snow! a favourable forecast of mild wet weather allowed the thaw to set in, but still face with 4 inches of snow on the 3G surface on Friday the club sent out an appeal for help to make sure the Bangor fixture wasn't postponed. The Show Racism The Red Card Campaign visited the Rock Stadium home of Cefn Druids FC for our annual Educational club event last week and was joined by Year 7 pupils from Ysgol Y Grango who took part in our educational club event for the day. On Thursday the 6th April The Rock hosted the first Cefn Community Council Schools Football Tournament. The day was organised by councillors Ken Bathers and Derek Wright.
