The upcoming pre season friendly between Cefn Druids & Cefn Albion will be as ever a exciting fixture for our community, even more so following the new partnership announced last month between the clubs that will see Albion ground sharing at The Rock. Following discussions between the two clubs it has been agreed that proceeds from the match will go towards Plas Bod Llwyd a local Cefn Mawr residential home, it is well known in the community and again reaffirms both clubs comm

Druids Welcome Ken Roberts to The Rock
It was great to welcome Ken Roberts back to Druids at last weeks Wrexham game. Ken who lived on Rock Road and was Wrexham's youngest ever player aged 15years 158 days, later went on to play for Aston Villa. He played a huge part in the 1992 merger between Druids United & Cefn Albion. Ken is pictured with John Hughes (current Druids chairman) who welcomed him back to the club! #Druids


Pre Season : Druids 2-0 Whitchurch Alport
Druids took on Whitchurch Alport in their second pre season friendly. It was exactly 12 month since they played at Yockings Park where Druids were defeated. In what was an entertaining 90 minutes of football both sides put in some good solid periods and will have lots to think about as they head away into their respective league fixtures. The game ended 2-0 to Druids with Lewis Buckley and Ellis Healing hitting the back of the net. Attendance: 164 #Druids


Pre Season : Druids 1-3 Wrexham
Druids kicked off their pre season by welcoming Wrexham AFC to The Rock, any game between these two sides will always attract attention, two of the oldest teams in wales. This match didn't disappoint with an attendance of 1,854! The game ended with Wrexham winning 3-1 over the ancients in a close fought encounter, Wrexham scoring the first after 28 mins (Trialist B) before increasing their lead in the 80th (James Jennings), Druids managed to pull one back with a penalty slott
