It was great to welcome Ken Roberts back to Druids at last weeks Wrexham game. Ken who lived on Rock Road and was Wrexham's youngest ever player aged 15years 158 days, later went on to play for Aston Villa. Druids took on Whitchurch Alport in their second pre season friendly. It was exactly 12 month since they played at Yockings Park where Druids were defeated. In what was an entertaining 90 minutes of football both sides put in some good solid periods and will have lots to think about as they head away into their respective league fixtures. Druids kicked off their pre season by welcoming Wrexham AFC to The Rock, any game between these two sides will always attract attention, two of the oldest teams in wales.
