Nathan Peate Selected for Wales
Druids Centre Back, Nathan Peate has received a international call up for the Wales C team. At lunch time today Mark Jones named his side to face England C at the Peninsular Ground (Salford City FC) on Tuesday 19th March 2019.
A club official commented : "This is a great honour for both Nathan and the club, Druids have a long tied history with the Welsh Team, Llwellyn Kenrick the founder of Druids was also the founder of the Football Association of Wales. I know the supporters will be chuffed for Nathan who is fully deserving of the call up, and I'm sure many will follow the side up to Salford in support.
Nathan Peate follows team mates Naim Arsan, John Owen & Danny Gosset who all played in the Wales V England C international at Barry Town last March. A hard fought match ended in a 3-2 win for England. Wales will want to push on for a win this time around on foreign soil!
