Club Chairman Retires

It is with regret that we announce Brian Mackie, Chairman of Cefn Druids AFC is stepping down from his role on the board. We would like to place on record the thanks of all those at the club for his long service to Cefn Druids, under his tenure we have seen major improvements across the board from our Academy right through to the First Team, we also underwent the relocation of the club from Plas Kynaston to The Rock and more recently the new 3G playing surface installation.

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate incoming Chairman John Hughes on his appointment, below he pays tribute to Brian Mackie.

"As incoming Chairman I would like to register a massive thanks to Brian Mackie, who has recently stood down after 17 years at the Helm. Cefn Druids will always be indebted to his commitment and loyalty over the years. His experience and knowledge will continue to be an asset to the club. We are committed to pursue all aspects of development, and are actively seeking success with both our 1st team and Academy."
