Druids show real spirit to fight back to secure a draw!
The Lakesiders had raced into a two goal lead early on, Mike Hayes and Henry Jones having them two up inside twenty minutes.
Two could have been three five minutes later when a chance was cleared off the line by Druids, before Anthony Miley fired over on the rebound.
Further first half pressure failed to yield more goals, and Druids will be thankful. The Ancients responded after the break. James Davies brought them back into the game on 55' with a a close range finish, after they had an earlier goal disallowed for offside.
The woodwork was rattled on the hour mark, before Ashley Morris was called upon to make a couple of key saves, one from Ryan Kershaw and another from Alec Mudimu.
There was nothing he could do though seven minutes from time, when Jordan Evans unleashed a wonder strike to bring the scores level and earn a point for the home side.
