Mudimu impresses at the COSAFA Cup
Alec Mudimu has returned from international duty with silverware in tow, Zimbabwe were crowned champions of the COSAFA Cup competition, which is a annual tournament for teams from Southern Africa organised by Council of Southern Africa Football Associations.
Zimbabwe progress from the group stage, to face Botswana in the quarter final beating them 3-1 on penalties, a nil-nil draw with Lesotho in the semi final resulted in another round of penalties progressing to the final Zimbabwe faced a tough test against a strong Zambia side. The final whistle was blown with the FT score 4-2!
