Druids & Albion match raises money for local residential home

John Hughes (Cefn Druids chairman), Tracey Roberts (Carer at the home), Ennis Wood (Resident at the home), Judith Richards

(Manger at the home) and Haydn Evans (Chairman of Cefn Albion)

Last Wednesday's pre season friendly between the two Cefn Sides was a big success, not only for the great spirit the players on the pitch displayed but also because the evening raised £540 for Plas Bod Llwyd Residential Home in Cefn Mawr.

A big thank you to Players and Fans alike who donated to a fantastic cause, last night the donation was presented to the workers and residents of Plas Bod Llwyd.

Judith Richards, manager at the residential home gave a massive thank you on behalf of all the residents for the kind donation, the money will be put towards a comfort fund which allows the residents to enjoy treats and excursions.

The recent partnership between Cefn Druids and Cefn Albion is already proving a benefit to our local community and we look to strengthen these ties and build on these successes going forward.
