Cook & Eckersley re-sign
Cefn druids are pleased to announce the resigning of club captain Stuart Cook and footballing centre back Matthew Eckersley. Stuart Cook who also received the supports players of the season put pen to paper after a successful 1st season with druids. Matthew Eckersley arrived last season with Stuart after playing in the North West Counties League and has shown his ability by playing a number of positions which saw druids claim 8th spot.
Manager, Huw Griffiths Commented:- "We are pleased to have resigned Cookie and Eckes and add them to the lads who have already re-signed. It is important to us to keep the core of the squad that have been outstanding for us this season. We are working hard behind the scenes to make sure that as a club we continue to move forward. The 1st team management would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate Sean, Andy and Steve and there under 21s side who won their reserves league last week, also continuing the clubs success this season Phil and Josh who's under 16s side where crowned Welsh Champions with the win on Sunday in the final."
