Druids aware of Aberystwyth threat

March 25, 2017

Cefn Druids head to Park Avenue this afternoon in a clash against Aberystwyth Town, Druids will be hoping for all three points as they look to secure their Welsh Premier League future. In a week which has seen the seasiders manager Matthew Bishop stand down, Druids are aware of the threat posed by a revitalised team in need of a win.

First Team Coach Jayson Starkey commented:- "We aren't approaching it any different from how we have approached any other game this season but we are well aware that it is a dangerous time to play them with the management changes that have taken place this week. Kyle Parle is missing through injury but Josh Jones remains in the squad after making his debut last week."

Josh Jones came on in last weeks thrilling 4-1 victory over Rhyl FC making his first team debut, another product of our Academy to keep an eye on for the future. Todays game should be a great show as both teams will go all out to secure the points.
